Apartment Investing Mentoring
Investing in Residential Real Estate
So, you want to invest in real estate? Especially multifamily real estate or apartment buildings?
If you want the maximum opportunity for success, then hire a real estate coach, or a real estate mentor. Someone who has actually had success buying (and selling) apartment buildings… for themselves.
Period.
If you’re really serious about investing in apartment buildings, or other residential real estate, you can stop reading right now and contact me. I’m one of the leading mentors in multifamily investing and a leading authority on forcing appreciation on residential investment properties.
I’m a great coach too.
Let’s figure out where you are right now, where your gaps in ability are and what you need to do to make this a reality. (Click this link to contact me.)
I don’t bite. I LOVE to talk real estate. If I can give you a leg up — like my mentors did for me — well… it’s what I love to do.
Hiring a Real Estate Mentor vs. Following a Guru:
Forget the high priced real estate investing bootcamps and hype.
Those guys that tell you multifamily real estate investing is easy and will make you rich overnight are, well… shall we just say they’re not quite telling you the truth?
How I Got Into Buying Apartment Buildings
I started investing in real estate in the early-90s. I bought, and held, several single-family properties. I flipped multiple duplexes and single-family houses. And I did pretty well. Well enough to start buying apartment buildings. (And I can help you do the same thing.)
But here’s the thing. Even though I had experienced significant success as a single-family investor, there was no way I was going to get into commercial real estate without education, coaching and mentoring.
Investing in apartment buildings (multifamily real estate) is an entirely different ball game.
The business can be brutal to anyone who doesn’t know what they’re doing. You can lose your shirt. Heck, you can lose your entire wardrobe. Your savings. Everything you’ve worked for.
It’s a great game but it can be a dangerous one.
Find a Real Estate Mentor
Sitting in a high priced seminar isn’t going to get you the results you want. It might just be enough to scare you into inaction. Hiring a mentor and/or coach will lead to success. (When I first started investing in apartment buildings, I hired both.)
If you’re looking for a great real estate mentor you’ve come to the right place. I’ve been a business coach for over 20 years. And I specialize in real estate coaching and mentoring.

Investing In Apartment Buildings: Renovation Tips and Photos
I buy apartment buildings in need of basic improvements, I figure out how to lower expenses and raise property income, and I bring in a team to manage the process. As a result? I force the appreciation of the properties I buy, rather than rely on market forces.
In this post, I give you some tips on using the Value Added Strategy for investing in apartment buildings.
Things like:
Negotiating a seller credit for the major repairs that need to be done. Take a look at the photos below. I negotiated a seller credit to redo all the asphalt, sidewalks, courtyard and roof on this 29 unit apartment complex. In layman’s terms? The seller paid for these repairs, not me.
