I had a friend tell me that sometimes she felt she didn’t know anything everyone else didn’t already know.

It’s easy to feel that way, especially in the information age.

On the other hand, much of what I know is because, thank goodness, someone else knew it and was willing to share it with me.

Sometimes I paid for that knowledge and sometimes it came from the most unexpected places.

One idea….

Life changing.

Or, at least an idea that set me thinking in a new way.

I’m a huge fan of most entrepreneurs I meet. These are my Big Fish, Top Dogs and yes, Fat Cats! The amazing community I get to hang out with.

Without them, this blog wouldn’t exist.

This is collaboration at its best and in its highest form.

Hopefully you’ll visit occasionally — it is my goal to share ideas and little nuggets of information that might resonate with you, or motivate you, in the most unexpected ways.

About me. I’ve been an entrepreneur my entire life. Really! I don’t like fixed hours or having someone dictate how I spend my time. I live in Colorado with my truly excellent husband Richard, two great cats (they are not fat), and a cockatiel named Charlie; 300 days of sunshine, urban sophistication meets outdoor adventure. The Rockies are our backdrop. We ski, bike, golf, scuba dive (elsewhere), are expert whitewater rafting guides and occasionally indulge in local theater.

I am the co-creator of bigfishtopdogs.com. I’m a mentor, coach, musician, award winning graphic artist, blogger and owner of multiple businesses. I own a commercial real estate investment company and I’m expert in acquiring, owning & improving single-family and multi-family properties.

Meet my really great husband, Richard! Richard Banta, co-creator of bigfishtopdogs.com, has law degrees from the George Washington University and the London School of Economics, as well as street level experience as an entrepreneur, and as an entrepreneur’s attorney. He is a skier, coach, attorney, entrepreneur, network marketer and blogger.
