Most of you know I was recently up for Rookie Blogger of the Year. There isn’t a day that goes by without someone asking me who won.
It’s time to put this contest to bed. The voting closed on November 15th but for some weird reason that I can only speculate about, Tycoon Blogger never announced a winner. He wrote that an announcement was “coming soon” and that was that. So, I waited.
Based on vote count alone — compliance with the rules aside — another blogger won the contest. I came in at a fairly close second place, but not for lack of support from tons of really great people! That would be you guys. Thank you! Here’s the other really weird thing… I don’t think the winner knows he won. At least he hasn’t announced it on his own blog. Hell, I was ready to send out a press release when I won! 
Thanks everyone for asking me every day if I won. Thank you for your amazing and incredible support! I did win. In my heart I won. In your awesome support I won. In my activities as a blogger I won. I still think being a rookie is pretty great and I loved participating in the contest.

Theresa, you did win, and guess what, you are no longer a rookie!!! So, suggestion, start your own rookie blogger or blogger contest – only better. I’d enter and work hard to win. I’m a rookie and boy would that separate the men from the boys as my dad would say. Just a thought, and you could improve on Tycoon Blogger and actually release the results… Just some food for thought.

I have officially started but no one has reached that section yet. There’s a couple nearly there. Ann’s online course gets done in order – for very good reasons. I have no doubt that it will be producing blog posts.
