Kids take risks. Sometimes the scarier the better — it’s part of the thrill. They’ll risk looking foolish. They’ll risk physical injury.
They don’t have prior experiences that tell them to act otherwise.
The fear of falling off a bike simply doesn’t compare to the freedom they’ll have when they learn to ride. They don’t focus on the negative things that might happen — they think of the positive.
